No. 6 Florida State tops No. 11 Louisville

No. 6 Florida State 82, No. 11 Louisville 67: Trent Forrest scored 14 of his 16 points after halftime, and Florida State rallied from a double-digit deficit to beat Louisville on Monday night.

The Seminoles (24-4, 14-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) moved past the Cardinals into first place in the ACC. They lead Louisville and No. 7 Duke by a halfgame.

Patrick Williams’ thunderous dunk put an exclamatio­n point to a 15-0 run that put the Seminoles ahead for good. Florida State outscored Louisville 5027 in the second half and extended its home winning streak to 22 games.

Ryan McMahon scored 14 points and Jordan Nwora had 13 points and eight rebounds for Louisville (23-6, 14-4).

No. 1 Kansas 83, Oklahoma State 58: Udoka Azubuike had 19 points and 16 rebounds, Ochai Agbaji added 15 points, and top-ranked Kansas avoided any chance of a letdown after its highprofil­e win over Baylor by blowing out Oklahoma State.

Devon Dotson added 11 points and Christian Braun and David McCormack had 10 apiece for the Jayhawks (25-3, 14-1), whose victory over the No. 2 Bears allowed them to retake the top spot in the AP poll earlier in the day. And the win over the Cowboys (14-14, 4-11) gave coach Bill Self’s team a half-game lead over Baylor in the race for the Big 12 title.

Texas 67, No. 20 West Virginia 57: Andrew Jones scored 22 points to lead Texas past West Virginia as the injurydepl­eted Longhorns continued a lateseason surge.

Courtney Ramey added 21 points for Texas (17-11, 7-8 Big 12). The Mountainee­rs (19-9, 7-8) have lost six straight on the road in conference play.

West Virginia beat Texas by 38 points back on Jan. 20, the worst loss of coach Shaka Smart’s five years with the Longhorns.

Oscar Tshiebwe scored 14 points to lead West Virginia.

Top 10 women

No. 3 Oregon 74, No. 4 Stanford 66: Sabrina Ionescu became the first player in NCAA history to reach 2,000 points, 1,000 assists and 1,000 rebounds and notched her record 26th career tripledoub­le hours after speaking at Kobe Bryant’s memorial service, leading Oregon past Stanford.

Ionescu hit the milestone on a defensive rebound with 1:47 remaining in the third quarter and finished with 21 points, 12 assists and 12 rebounds in her first triple-double against a top-10 opponent and eighth overall this season to help Oregon (26-2, 15-1 Pac-12) clinch at least a share of its third straight Pac-12 regular-season title.

No. 2 Baylor 64, West Virginia 39: Te’a Cooper scored 17 points and Baylor clinched a share of its 10th consecutiv­e Big 12 regular-season championsh­ip with a victory over West Virginia.

Baylor (26-1, 15-0 Big 12) cemented the top seed in the conference tournament and won its 56th straight regularsea­son conference game.

West Virginia (16-10, 6-9) shot 24% from the floor for the game and lost to Baylor for the sixth straight time.

Duke 70, No. 8 N.C. State 65: Haley Gorecki scored 13 of her 24 points in the fourth quarter to help Duke beat North Carolina State.

Onome Akinbode-James added 12 points and Kyra Lambert had 11 for the Blue Devils (17-10, 11-5 Atlantic Coast Conference), who won their sixth consecutiv­e game.

Elissa Cunane had 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead North Carolina State (23-4, 12-4).
