QUEEN CREEK – Priscilla “Pris” Peters, 81, of Queen Creek, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 15, 1938 in Manhattan, New York City, New York. Priscilla married Charles “Chuck” O’Connor (deceased 2013) in 1959 and moved to Arizona in 1961. Together, they had five children. Before enjoying retirement, she worked in Security Administration for Honeywell for over 15 years.

Priscilla married Richard Peters in 1996, and Richard passed away in 2018. Priscilla is predeceased by her mother, Marjorie Willis, and her brother, Richard Willis. She is survived by her five children, Tim O’Connor (Teresa), Dan O’Connor (Karen), Susan Ramirez (Robert), Sean O’Connor (Jennifer), and Shannon Dukes (Shawn), and Richard’s children Margie Maupin (Steve) and Jim Peters (Pam), as well as 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Priscilla was a woman of strong Christian faith who treasured her family and cherished every moment with them. She often shared words of wisdom and encouragement, and did so with a gentle touch. She could intuitively sense when healing was needed, and would patiently listen as a mother or a good friend. She taught her children by example how to be exceptional parents and to respect and love unconditionally without limits. Priscilla enjoyed time and conversation with her close friends and extended family, and would always look forward to gatherings as she immensely enjoyed the time together. She will be deeply missed by all, and we are comforted in knowing our loving mother is at peace in Heaven.
