SUN CITY – FIRST, TOM WANTED EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT HE HAD A GOOD LIFE!

Thomas E. Huffman passed away peacefully August 8, 2020 at his home in Sun City. Born in 1937 to Elmer P. and Geneva (Ayers) Huffman in Rochester, Illinois, he moved to Arizona in 1963. Never regretting his move, he was as close to a native Arizonan as anyone could be.

Tom, an accomplished and talented woodworker, will be remembered for many years through clocks, furniture, turned bowls and his bells and ornaments that are treasured by many of his friends and family. Tom was a pilot and enjoyed many hours of flight and aviation related activities. He cherished the many friends he met that shared his love of flying.

He is survived by his wife, Diane, and children from blended families. Kira A. Russo, daughter, and Alexander Thomas (Alex) Bauer, grandson, and namesake. Sons; Terry Simpson (Sarah), and Gary Lane, and numerous grandchildren and some great grandchildren. Brothers; Jerald Huffman, FL, and Dale Huffman, MO, sisters; Karen Huffman and Sue Ellen Green (Ron) both of Illinois and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Huffman and grandson Andrew (Andy) Donald Bauer.

TOM WILL BE REMEMBERED AS A LOVING HUSBAND, FATHER, AND A KIND AND LOYAL FRIEND.

He will be cremated, and no services are planned. When the coronavirus issues are resolved, we will have a celebration of his life. Condolences may be shared at :
