Support Season for Sharing on Tuesday

-

During a great crisis, great needs emerge. And it’s certainly been the case during the COVID-19 pandemic. Food lines are longer. Eviction notices are higher. Parents are struggling to keep kids’ learning on track.

On this Giving Tuesday, a donation to Season for Sharing can help those who are struggling.

Season for Sharing is the Arizona Republic-sponsored campaign to raise funds for charities around the state that aid older adults, support struggling families and help teachers and students. Last year, $1.8 million was distributed to 143 nonprofits. The reach is primarily Maricopa and Pinal counties, but also statewide. Every penny raised goes back to community groups because The Republic covers all administrative costs.

Since Season for Sharing began 27 years ago, we’ve given away more than $68 million to nonprofits to help our neighbors in need.
