CELTICS 112, Nuggets 99: Jaylen Brown had 27 points and eight assists to help the Celtics withstand a 43-point night from Nikola Jokic and beat the Nuggets 112-99 on Tuesday. Jayson Tatum added 21 points and eight assists to help Boston bounce back following two anemic performances in back-to-back losses to Detroit and Washington.
Pelicans 144, GRIZZLIES 113: Zion Williamson scored 31 points while dominating inside, and the New Orleans Pelicans ended a three-game skid with a 144-113 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. Williamson, who was 13 of 16 from the field, added seven rebounds and six assists as the Pelicans finished with a season high in points.
Trail Blazers 115, THUNDER 104: Damian Lillard scored 12 of his 31 points in the final 4:11 to help the Trail Blazers beat the Thunder 115-104 on Tuesday night. The Trail Blazers squandered a 24-point lead in the second half, then regained control behind Lillard, who made all four of his 3-point tries during the closing run while playing with five fouls.
Raptors 124, BUCKS 113: Fred VanVleet scored 33 points, Pascal Siakam added 23 and the Toronto Raptors withstood the loss of Kyle Lowry to beat the slumping Milwaukee Bucks 124-113 on Tuesday night. Lowry exited with a sore left ankle in the third quarter but had 18 points, six rebounds and six assists in 22 minutes.
Lakers 112, TIMBERWOLVES 104: LeBron James had 30 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists and Dennis Schröder scored 24 points, helping the Los Angeles Lakers pull away from the Minnesota Timberwolves for a 112-104 victory on Tuesday night. Minnesota rookie Anthony Edwards had a career-high 28 points plus seven rebounds and five assists.
Nets at SUNS, late: The Suns have gone 10-4 at home. Phoenix is 9-5 against opponents over .500. The Nets are 6-7 on the road. Brooklyn averages 44.1 rebounds per game and is 14-4 when pulling down more rebounds than opponents. Chris Paul is averaging 16.7 points and 8.2 assists for the Suns.
