Timeline of Walter Mitchell’s life

1961: Walter Harold Mitchell III is born in Illinois.

1977: His parents, Walter Harold Mitchell Jr. and Barbara Mitchell, buy a home in Glendale.

1979: Mitchell graduates from Apollo High School and attends one year at Glendale Community College.

1980: Mitchell joins the Air Force and marries Laurie Shannon.

1982: Mitchell receives an early honorable discharge from the Air Force due to stress.

1984: Mitchell and Shannon divorce.

1986: First son is born.

1990: Second son is born.

1993: Mitchell steals about $10,000 from his employer, flees to Mexico and is convicted of burglary.

1996: Mitchell marries Christina (also spelled Cristina) Mitchell.

2000: Mitchell says he helped found Science Care in Phoenix. His parents buy a home in Chino Valley.

2002-2007: Mitchell says he helped found and run BioGift Anatomical in Oregon and Washington.

2005: Mitchell and Christina buy a home in Peoria. Mitchell incorporat­es National Donor Service in California, which he says he runs for four years.

2009: The couple lose the house to foreclosur­e during the Great Recession. Mitchell incorporat­es Reasearch Organ Biologics of California and says he also works at Biological Resource Center in Phoenix.

2010: The couple declare bankruptcy.

2011: Mitchell claims to co-found Innoved Institute in Illinois. His parents sell the home in Chino Valley.

2015: Mitchell incorporat­es Amniogift in Scottsdale.

2016: Mitchell incorporat­es Microlabs Medical Education in Phoenix.

2018: Mitchell and Christina divorce. Mitchell founds Sannex and FutureGene­x in Washington.

February 2020: Mitchell closes Sannex and FutureGene­x and drives to Arizona with five dead bodies, according to law enforcemen­t.

August 2020: Mitchell rents a spot for his RV in Chino Valley and keeps a freezer padlocked in a shed, investigat­ors say.

Dec. 1, 2020: Christina Mitchell purchases a Scottsdale condo.

Dec. 19, 2020: Mitchell sells the RV and freezer and moves out.

Dec. 26, 2020: Human remains near Prescott are reported to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office. Body parts are reported at a second site the next day.

Dec. 29, 2020: Mitchell is arrested at the Scottsdale condo. He refuses to answer questions.

January 2021: Christina Mitchell puts the condo up for sale. The Sheriff’s Office finds the freezer.

February 2021: Mitchell is scheduled for a pre-trial conference.
