Scottsdale mansion sells for $21M cash to unknown buyers
A $21 million mansion in Scottsdale’s posh Silverleaf community and a “Glamour Zen” Paradise Valley home featured on the cover of Luxe magazine were among this week’s priciest metro Phoenix home sales.
The transaction for the Scottsdale mansion is the second priciest home sale in Arizona history, according to real estate records. A Scottsdale DC Ranch mansion sold for $24.1 million in October. Before that record-breaking sale, the highest-priced home ever sold in Arizona was the $19.25 million Paradise Valley mansion that Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver sold in late 2019.

A Delaware LLC called 21053 Northway paid $21 million in cash for a 15,000square-foot mansion in north Scottsdale’s exclusive Silverleaf community. The home, never listed before, has a resort-style backyard with a deep diving pool spa, fire pits, kitchen and fireplaces. The house, with six bedrooms and 81⁄2 bathrooms, also has a large gym, six-car air conditioned garage, tennis court, butler’s pantry and guest house.
The seller was 110th Paradise LLC, led by Peter Ianello of OCA Ventures. Lisa Westcott of Silverleaf Realty had the listing for the home. Ryan Hass of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.

East Coast attorney Shanin Specter and his wife, Tracey, paid cash for a home called “Glamour Zen” that was featured on the cover of Luxe magazine. The 5,200-square-foot home in north Scottsdale’s gated Estancia community has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and sits on 1.4 acres. The Davidson Trust sold the home.

Goldman Sachs Vice President Charles Michaels and his wife, Christine, purchased a 7,100-square-foot mansion in Paradise Valley’s Mummy Foothills neighborhood. The couple, who attended ASU, also fund scholarships at the school. Their new home, with five bedrooms and six bathrooms, has a “chic chandelier-lit dining room” with a custom wine wall, “show off chef’s Wolf/ Sub-Zero” kitchen and poolside dining patio. Calvis Wyant Homes sold the property.

The Tullio Family Trust, led by Danielle Tullio of Ontario, Canada, purchased a 7,364-square-foot home in Paradise Valley with a custom wine cellar, stateof-the-art kitchen, prep kitchen, private gym and Iberian-brushed limestone floors. The house, with five bedrooms and 51⁄2 bathrooms, was sold by James and Gay Burke. James Burke was chief operating officer for Standard Motor Products of Long Island, New York.

Paul and Judy Pogue, who run the Pogue Family Missions, bought a 10,269-square-foot mansion with six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms in north Scottsdale’s Ancala community. Situated on one of Ancala’s elevated lots, the home has a 2,000-bottle wine room, theater, elevator and three stories. Paul Pogue is a former executive for a construction firm. David Kloeber sold the estate.
