Lise’ Kennedy

-

PEORIA – Lise’ Jeanne Kennedy, 59, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away on February 2, 2021, after a short but strenuous battle with COVID-19. She was born in Seattle, Washington, to Lucille and Clarence Zohn, known to all as Jo and Joe. Growing up, she developed a lifelong love of the Seattle Seahawks, but she still had plenty of cheerleader spirit left for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Cardinals, NASCAR, and sports in general. Her lively personality served her well during a varied career which always put her in contact with people and in a position to help them. After an early retirement, she enjoyed traveling the open road with her husband, Mickey, and their dogs, Hershey and Sachico. Lise’ is survived by her husband and their three daughters, Michelle Pruitt, Velvet Leckie, and Mina Kennedy. She also leaves behind a son-inlaw, Craig Leckie, a grandson, Keyton Sweeney, seven surviving siblings and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the National Kidney Foundation in honor of Lise’ ‘s status as the recipient of a kidney transplant which endured for over 40 years, or your local Humane Society.
