Kwang Hyun Kim won for the first time in 11 starts, pitching five solid innings and helping himself with a two-run double as the Cardinals earned a three-game sweep.

BREWERS 15, Cubs 7:

Highly touted Milwaukee prospect Aaron Ashby got hammered for seven runs in the first inning of his big league debut, but Luis Urias homered twice as the Brewers rallied for their eighth straight win.

ROCKIES 6, Pirates 2:

Jon Gray tossed six strong innings in another solid outing for Colorado starters. Garrett Hampson had four hits for the Rockies. C.J. Cron led off the Colorado fourth with his 11th home run.

NATIONALS 15, Rays 6: Trea Turner completed his record-tying third career cycle by hitting a sixth-inning triple for the Nationals, accomplish­ing the feat on his 28th birthday. The shortstop became the fifth player in major league history with three cycles.

Tigers 9, CLEVELAND 4 (G1):

Harold Castro and Jonathan Schoop each drove in three runs, powering Detroit past Cleveland in the first game of a doublehead­er.

BRAVES 20, Mets 2: Ozzie Albies drove in seven runs with five hits, including two home runs, and the Braves battered the Mets for a strong finish to a disappoint­ing month. Mets left-hander David Peterson exited due to right side soreness in the fourth inning.

Padres 7, REDS 5 (6): Trent Grisham hit a grand slam and a solo shot and the Padres rallied for their 11th win in the last 12 games, beating the Reds in a game called in the sixth inning due to rain.

Mariners 9, BLUE JAYS 7: Dylan Moore hit a three-run homer in the tenth inning and the Mariners held on after blowing two earlier leads to beat the Blue Jays. Moore hit a 3-1 pitch from right-hander Patrick Murphy to leftcenter.

Orioles 5, ASTROS 2: Austin Hays homered and Ryan Mountcastl­e drove in two runs to help Baltimore wrap up a three-game sweep. It’s the first time the Orioles have swept the Astros since June 17-19, 2008.

WHITE SOX 13, Twins 3: Yasmani Grandal hit a three-run shot and a towering two-run drive, and the White Sox went deep six times to pound the Twins. Rookie Andrew Vaughn smacked a two-run homer and had three RBIs.

Marlins 11, PHILLIES 6: Joe Panik made an instant impression in his first game in Miami’s lineup, homering in his first at-bat and adding a go-ahead RBI single during a six-run sixth inning as the Marlins rallied over the Phillies.

Angels at YANKEES, late: Aaron Judge and Gary Sánchez powered a longawaite­d onslaught from New York’s star-studded lineup, helping the Yankees beat the Los Angeles Angels 11-5 Tuesday night.

Royals at RED SOX, late: J.D. Martinez drove in four runs, including two on a go-ahead double in the sixth inning, and the Boston Red Sox outlasted the slumping Kansas City Royals 7-6 on Tuesday on a sweltering night.

Rangers at ATHLETICS, late: Joey

Gallo homered twice to give him 18 on the season, putting Texas ahead with his sixth-inning drive, and Nick Solak added a late two-run shot as the Rangers beat the struggling Oakland Athletics 5-4 on Tuesday night.
