Bella Beanbag is an adorable cuddle bug with love to give
Every year, approximately 6.5 million companion animals enter shelters nationwide, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Of those, about 3.3 million are dogs and 3.2 million are cats.

Bella Beanbag
One look at this curvy girl and it is no wonder how the adorable 8-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier got her name. Affectionately known as Bella Beanbag, or Bella for short, this incredibly sweet girl has quickly become a staff favorite in her short time at the Arizona Humane Society.
Surrendered to AHS after her previous family could no longer care for her, adorable little Bella has been with the shelter since early November and continues to make friends everywhere she goes. At just shy of 75 pounds, this little lady has a lot of love to give and is the best cuddle bug around. Always the first to greet you with a tail wag and big smile, Bella Beanbag sure knows how to charm her way into the center of attention.
Bella does not want you to be fooled though – she is not just her beautiful looks. This creampuff also is extremely smart and the perfect houseguest as she is both potty and crate trained, knows all of her commands and is an incredible walker too! As you can tell by her glamour shot, this loving pup will need help shedding the pounds to help get her to a healthier weight through a balanced diet, exercise and positive reinforcement with healthy, low-calorie snacks such as carrots or green beans.
