PHOENIX – Robert Wilcox Carrillo, 82, passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on December 6, 2021. Robert was born on December 8, 1938, to Henry and Adeline (Wilcox) Carrillo.

Robert Wilcox Carrillo was born in Phoenix, Arizona and one of 9 children. Bob married the love of his life, Frances Baeza in 1958. They had three children together. Early in life, Bob was a musician and leader of Los Flamingos, and many times were the headliners at Calderone’s Dance Hall. His career was in line constructi­on, and he was a proud member of IBEW Local #769.

Bob was a big car enthusiast and partnered with his brother, George Carrillo to form “Carrillo’s Truck and Equipment Sales.” Bob was always revered as a hardworkin­g man.

Bob, also known as Dad, Tata, brother, and Grandfathe­r, was a devout Catholic who loved his God, his wife, his children, and grandchild­ren.He was blessed to earn the title of Great-Grandfathe­r just days before he passed. One of his greatest joys in life was watching his grandchild­ren play sports... He looked forward to family vacations and considered spending time with his wife and family, his top priority.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Adeline Carrillo, brother George and sisters Ruth and Theresa.

He is survived by his wife Frances B. Carrillo, daughter, Debbie Aburto, son, Robert Carrillo (Mona), daughter Cindy Heiser (Glenn) and four grandchild­ren, Robert Carrillo, Phillip Carrillo (Erin), Logan Heiser, Emma Heiser, and great-granddaugh­ter, Kit Carrillo.

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6180 W Utopia Rd, Glendale, AZ 85308, at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
