PRESCOTT – Doris (Dorie) Anne (nee Hoehn) Curry 7/5/3812/6/2021. Joins her loving family and friends in the “Afterlife Lounge” following 83 years of fun and a most wonderful and interestin­g life.

Born as the youngest of six children to Ralph and Florence Hoehn of Lockport, IL. Dorie joined the U.S. Navy in 1956 serving honorably for six years as a Hospital Corpsman stationed at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD; the Marine Corp Training Center Medical Facility at Paris Island, SC; and the Naval Hospital, Annapolis, MD. In 1971 she moved to Phoenix, AZ where she was very involved with her sons Robert(Bob) and Jon Curry in Little League Baseball, Pop Warner Football and Cub Scouts in Paradise Valley, AZ. Dorie worked for Visiting

Nurse Services and as a Cigna Administra­tor for 15 yrs before retiring in December 1991 to purchase a Four Season Resort in Big Bear Lake, CA tragically lost to a 7.6 Earthquake in June 1992.

Dorie then moved to Prescott, AZ in 1997 where she took up RVing with friends including activities like kayaking, golf, woodworkin­g projects, card playing and finally enjoying retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Florence Hoehn, her brothers Ralph (Mary Jane) Hoehn of Manhattan, IL / AZ and Louis (Diane) Hoehn of Joliet, IL; and her sister Virginia (Bob) Lusciatti of Joliet, IL.

She is survived by her sons Robert C. Curry (Paige) of Prescott Valley, AZ and Jon K. Curry (Marti) of Chino Valley, AZ; sister Betty J. Jacobucci (Charles) and brother Albert M. Hoehn of Elwood, IL. Dorie has 5 grandchild­ren including Trevor Curry, Dr. Meghan Curry Hicks, Riley Curry, Dillon Curry, and Reece Curry. As the favored aunt in the Hoehn family she had numerous (fans!) nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She is also survived by her loving companion Terri Roza.
