3/17/43 - 11/27/21 The kindest man I ever met, the love of my life, and my best friend passed away on November 27, 2021. Nick was usually happy, with a smile on his face and a quick joke or pun to make you smile. He loved parties and dinners out. He was always helpful with a problem or a chore in the yard. He was generous with his time and his money. He was brilliant, building computers, doing trading on line, or building us beautiful homes. All the while working at Motorola Semiconductor as an Engineering manager for thirty plus years. He loved to read, especially Lee Child and Michael Connelly. During a recent trip to the Emergency Room, when asked his name, he responded, Jack Reacher. Regular visits to San Diego and the beach were always a highlight! Even in his later years when he was suffering from dementia, he stayed happy and funny and helpful. He couldn’t understand the masks and isolation caused by COVID.

Nick leaves behind his adoring wife, Sandy, his daughter Lesley (Matt, Nicholas and Lauren) of Colorado; son, Paul Perry (Michelle, Tucker, Carter and Sutton); brother George, and sisters Shirley and Rae as well as loving in-laws, Linda, Terri, Alan, Danny, Cathy and Dolores. And his “fur babies” Bitsy and Sadie. We would especially like to thank Wellington Ayivor, his weekly lunch partner and friend, and gym trainer, Tim Hunter, who were patient and loving with Nick. You added to his quality of life in his final year.

There are no services planned at the current time. Nick donated his body to science. We will hold a Celebration of Life in the near future. Please remember Nick with a smile and as a good person and friend. How lucky were we to have this man in our life.

Rest in Peace, my Love.
