MATCHUP TO WATCH

CARDINALS TE ZACH ERTZ VS. RAMS SS JORDAN FULLER

Ertz could be a huge weapon in this game for the Cardinals, working them idle of the field and underneath the coverage and although multiple Rams defenders will have to be on guard, Fuller may be the one who ends up bringing him down and preventing big yards after the catch. Look for Murray to target Ertz early and often and especially in the red zone.

SERIES HISTORY: The Rams lead the all-time series 45-39-2. Before their Week 4 victory at SoFi Stadium, the Cardinals had dropped eight straight games to the Rams and were outscored 251-91 during that stretch.

DID YOU KNOW? Andrew Whitworth of the Rams, who turned 40 on Sunday, will become the oldest left tackle to ever start an NFL game when he takes the field Monday night against the Cardinals.

HE SAID IT: “I think that’s the message right now that the team is resonating with and I think that’s how guys feels. I also think guys are trying to focus in and lock in because they got us the first time we played, and we don’t want to let that happen again.” — Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey on the team toning down internal expectations and simply trying to treat this game like any other game.
