Flagstaff police said around 1 a.m. officers responded to reports of a fight involving a large crowd that turned into a shooting at Collins Irish Pub and Grill near Route 66 and Leroux Street.

Witnesses told police that Frankie James Jackson, 26, was fighting with Treysean Michael Anthony Ware, 26, outside the bar when Ware pulled a gun out and shot Jackson twice, according to police. It’s unknown what led to the fight.

Ware was arrested on charges of second-degree homicide, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, disorderly conduct with a weapon and drug charges.

Police said the investigation was ongoing but they aren’t actively looking for more suspects.
