“Days of Our Lives” moves to streaming
Peacock
Joining the ranks of series like Evil, SEAL Team, Thursday Night Football and Dancing With the Stars, long-running daytime drama Days of Our Lives is leaving broadcast television and will be streaming its new episodes exclusively on Peacock’s premium service weekdays starting today. In its place, the hourlong news program NBC News Daily will debut on network affiliates.
A “M*A*S*H” 50th Anniversary Celebration
TV Land, beginning at 9 a.m.
Leading up to the 50th anniversary of the premiere of the classic series M*A*S*H (it debuted Sept. 17, 1972), TV Land devotes two hours at this time each morning starting today through Friday (Sept. 16) to a block of memorable episodes from the iconic dramedy.
M*A*S*H: The Best by Farr Begins
MeTV, beginning at 7 p.m.
Ahead of the 50th anniversary of M*A*S*H’s premiere (Sept. 17, 1972), MeTV is doing something special for its regular back-to-back weeknight airings of episodes from the classic series. Tonight through Sept. 16, costar Jamie Farr (aka Cpl. Max Klinger) hand-picks the episodes from among his favorites, and offers hosted commentary, memories and stories about his time on the show.

HBO’s Succession leads this year’s nominees for primetime television’s most prestigious award with 25 Emmy nominations, followed by Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso and HBO’s The White Lotus with 20 nods apiece; HBO Max’s Hacks and Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building with 17 each; and HBO’s Euphoria with 16. This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson.

Some of the most-talked about names in the 90 Day universe are diving back into the world of romance after their failed international relationships.
War of the Worlds

The sci-fi drama based on H.G. Wells’ classic alien-invasion novel, set in modern-day France and the United Kingdom, returns for Season 3. The season picks up as the war between the survivors and aliens reaches a new turning point and a terrifying phenomenon grips countless people across the globe. The series will air regularly on Sunday nights beginning with Episode 2 on Sept. 18.
