Annetta Pike

-

PHOENIX – Annetta was born to Jacob and Katherine Stickel in 1925, growing up on a Montana farm with three brothers until she moved to Helena where she worked for the telephone company. In 1947 she married Homer Pike, an ambitious real estate broker, and they moved to Great Falls. Together they started a family, bought and sold properties, owned businesses, and managed assets. They moved to Phoenix in 1971 and after she retired with Motorola for 20 years with perfect attendance, she served as a faithful volunteer at John C. Lincoln Hospital for 20 years.

Annetta was a devoted wife, a dedicated mother and she dearly loved her friends. She was warmly welcomed by son-in-law Phil Greco’s family, participating in all celebrations and visits throughout many years. It was easy for her to stay busy every day serving in women’s ministries and organizations, meeting friends for lunch, playing games and attending events through senior centers. She looked forward to traveling, hosting out-of-state visitors, attending theatre and opera. Christmas was her favorite time of year because of all the wonderful programs, particularly sacred music concerts. Annetta passed away peacefully and entered in to glory on November 13, 2022 survived by her two children, James and Jane, sister-in-law Virginia Stickel and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family who adored her. Her last words were, “Tell everyone I love them.”

A Christian funeral service will be held at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N 7th St. Phoenix AZ 85020, on November 21st, at 10:30AM. A viewing will be held from 9:30AM to the time of the service. Flowers are welcome. Visit Hansenmortuary.com for online condolences.
