GLENDALE – Ted Phillip Bunjovac peacefully passed away on November 14, 2022 with family by his side. He was born in Hurley, Wisconsin to Nick and Leone Bunjovac and was the second of five children.

Ted is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia (Bosanac), his children, Carmen (Carroll) Allred, Donna (Michael) Bollig, Kevin (Maryann) Bunjovac, Karen (Bryan) Gray, Glenn (Nicole) Bunjovac, and Annette (Raymond) Lanford, and by his siblings, Kathleen (Nonnie) Gregory, Ruth Ann (Lloyd) Harper, Rose Mary Mattson, and Patrick (Louise) Bunjovac. He is preceded in death by his son, Phillip, his parents, and his brother-in-law, Glen. He loved being a grandfather to his 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren and somehow managed to make them all feel special. He honorably served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired in August 1980.

Ted’s legacy, besides his big family, is his even bigger heart, his big laughter, his big appetite, his big hands, and his twinkling blue eyes. He lived his life to the fullest. His family was his everything. It is an impossible task to summarize, and then conclude, the life of a man such as Ted. Words cannot truly capture how wonderful, how loving, how kind, and how dearly missed he will be. He will remain forever beloved in the hearts of all who cherished him and were blessed by his presence in their lives.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Chapel on Thursday, November 17th from 5-8pm with Rosary at 6pm. Mass will be held at 11am on Friday, November 18th at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 N. 35th Ave. Phoenix with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.
