Scottsdale mansion in Desert Mountain sells for $9.5M cash
More than $26 million in cash was spent on the five priciest houses to sell in metro Phoenix last week. Three of the houses are located in the popular Arcadia neighborhood.

Virginia-based Western Getaway LLC paid cash for a new modern-style mansion in north Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain community. The 8,855-square-foot house has four bedrooms and 51⁄2 bathrooms. A Delaware LLC called Tier One Capital was the seller. Daniel Wolski of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing.

Stephen Tzap of Golden, Colorado, paid cash for a 5,182-square-foot home on the Scottsdale side of the Arcadia area of Phoenix. He is CEO of ZAP Engineering & Construction Services. The house, designed by RafterHouse, has dual boutique-style closets, a mirrored fireplace, an all-glass kitchen wine cabinet, a French-style garden fountain, an Olympic-length lap pool, a fire pit and an outdoor kitchen. Abwell LLC sold it.

A Delaware LLC called Unfazed Holdings also bought a home on the Scottsdale side of Arcadia in Phoenix. The 5,200square-foot French farmhouse-style home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The house also has vaulted ceilings, wood beams, a breakfast nook, two TV rooms, a wet bar and a fireplace in the primary suite. Todd Sprague was the seller.

Corbin and Lindsay Blythe paid cash for a 4,888-square-foot home on the Phoenix side of Arcadia. The house with five bedrooms and six bathrooms also
comes with a guest house, a large wine refrigerator and an athletics court. Michael and Laura Bell sold it.

Rocky Griese paid cash for a new 4,341square-foot Scottsdale house with four bedrooms and 5 1⁄2 bathrooms. The house has 17-foot ceilings, a pool house, a three-tiered pool and two fire pits. Homebuilder Toll Brothers was the seller.
