The beloved holiday light show is back. Here’s when it starts
Though the future of Glendale Glitters didn’t look so bright as of 2021, the annual wintertime event is poised to make a lively comeback in November 2022 with a holiday light display, Christmas parade, performances and movies in the park. ● As reported by The Arizona Republic last year, Glendale cut funding for the nearly 30-year-old event in 2018 and 2019 and has been scaling it down since 2020. In 2021, officials did away with the name altogether, instead hosting Murphy Park Lights, the annual parade and live entertainment on weekends. ● But Glendale Glitters is coming back in both name and spirit in 2022.
