PARADISE VALLEY – Brenda… “Beautiful, Kind, Intelligent, Loyal, Generous & Full of Love.”

Brenda Jean Brimhall, cherished & beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother & Nana to all. She drew her last breath November 17, 2022, three days before her 80th Birthday, surrounded by her children and husband.

Brenda, born in Provo, Utah, grew up with three younger brothers (Steve, Brad & Tracy) a sweet, hardworking mother, (Nadine) & fun-loving father (Sterling Harding) who were both incredible chefs. She attended school in Orem, Utah, and worked with her parents in their family restaurants then as a bank teller for Zions Bank.

Brenda and husband George met 55 years ago at a funeral, and it was love at first sight. They spent their married life in California, Arizona, and Montana…with considerable time also in Utah where many family members live. They are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where Brenda has served with love in many different callings.

Brenda loved to travel with her husband on memorable trips to Jerusalem, Egypt, and Hawaii, taking her parents, Africa on a hunting venture with friends and trips to the Bahamas, China, Dubai, Europe and many other places.

Brenda was the most Beautiful and Amazing mother who devoted her life to her husband and children. She is survived by her Husband George, and children - Bret (Jill), Darsey (Terry), Josh (Bea), Chelsea, Jesse (Melissa), Niki (JR) and Cullen (Jan). And 60+ Grand and Great Grandchildren.

She made every holiday special, especially birthdays! A thoughtful card for all was accompanied by her and Dad’s personal rendition of Happy Birthday sung to you on the phone - it was our favorite call every year!

Brenda was known as the Queen of Christmas - she loved opening her home to family and friends. Every year she had a new vision of sugar plums that danced in her head, she would then magically recreate it from her tree to her yard, wall to wall snow villages that would fill her family with wonder.

She created the most amazing memories for her family and friends that came to their summer home in Montana. You were greeted with a big hug and a fridge full of all your favorite things, crisp, fresh ironed sheets, candy dishes filled for the grandkids and Jazz music playing as the sunsets on the lake.

Valentines was also a special time of year where we celebrated our annual Brimhall family reunion in Snowbird, Utah beginning in 1980. Brenda learned to ski with her kids and thoroughly enjoyed time with her family.

Her whole life was centered around making Each person in it feel special, cared for and loved. If there was anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy…She loved it! She was a vibrant force of compassion and charity. She was diagnosed with Lupus and RA at a young age, she never let it slow her down - she pushed through all of life with such strength, grace, a radiant spirit and a beautiful smile. Every holiday she would handwrite a personal note to all she loved with her incredible handwriting and iconic signature.

Brenda was always put together; she had a fashion forward style and flair from her eyelashes to her shoes. You could always find her with either a Diet Coke, Junior Mints, Peanut M&M’s, “Nana’s” toast with Laura Scudder’s peanut butter, creamy honey and bananas, or a pack of Doublemint gum!

She loved shopping, reading, along with pondering the scriptures and sharing insights with all her friends on Book of Mormon 365, but most of all she loved her Savior.

The world is definitely a little less fabulous without her!
