Arizona State wrestling finished fourth at the Pac-12 Championship on Sunday and had five wrestlers punch tickets to the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

Michael McGee (133), Kyle Parco (149), and Cohlton Schultz (HWT) repeated as individual champions in their weight classes, while Brandon Courtney (125) and Cael Valencia (174) qualified for the NCAA Tournament. Oregon State won its first team title since 2016 and had five individual champions.

Courtney finished second after OSU’s Brandon Kaylor won after two rounds of sudden victory in the championship round.

McGee won his second consecutive Pac-12 title after winning via a 6-1 decision over OSU’s Jason Shaner.

In the 141 championship, ASU true freshman Emilio Ysaguirre was pinned by OSU’s Cleveland Belton. The Pac-12 has just one spot for the 141 class at the NCAA Tournament and only four atlarge spots are available.

Parco won his second consecutive Pac-12 title after winning by a 2-1 decision over Stanford’s Jaden Abas.

Valencia finished third in his first Pac-12 Championship, but earned his NCAA qualification at the true-second allocation match where he defeated Stanford’s Tyler Eischens in a 6-5 decision.

ASU’s Anthony Montalvo went to the 184 championship and fell by a 5-2 decision to OSU’s Trey Munoz. The Pac-12 only earned one spot for that class at the NCAA Tournament and seven at-large spots are available.

Schultz won his third-straight heavyweight title after he pinned Cal Poly’s Trevor Tinker.

The NCAA Tournament runs March 16-18 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
