Tiger Woods’ PopStroke park open in Glendale

After a nearly two-year wait, Tiger Woods’ “technology-infused golf entertainm­ent venue” with two 18-hole putting courses is open at Westgate Entertainm­ent District in Glendale.

PopStroke opens its doors at noon on Thursday, March 2, and hours are 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Sundays to Wednesdays and 10 a.m.-midnight Thursdays to Saturdays at 9480 W. Hanna Lane. The venue previously held a nearly weeklong soft opening during the Super Bowl 57 festivitie­s in February.

This is the first PopStroke location in Arizona. A second venue at the Pavilions at Talking Stick on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa

Indian Reservatio­n near Scottsdale is anticipate­d to open in the next four to six months, according to a press release.

Here’s what you can expect at Arizona’s first PopStroke.

How much does it cost to play at PopStroke?

According to the venue’s website, the pricing is as follows:

All Day Play: $30.

Seniors (60 years and older): $20. Military: $20

Kids ages 6-12 years old: $18.

Kids ages 3-5 years old: $15.

Kids 2 years and younger: Free. Groups (10 or more): $22 per person.

There are no reservatio­ns; entry first-come, first-served.

What are PopStroke’s putting courses like?

PopStroke’s courses are built with synthetic turf and are are uniquely designed for each location. They incorporat­e “undulation­s, fairways, bunkers and rough as seen on traditiona­l golf courses,” according to a press release.

The Tiger Red Course “challenges even the most experience­d putters with strong contouring and tricky hole locations.”

The Tiger Black Course is more beginner-friendly and “has softened contours to create an ideal course for families and anyone new to golf.”

PopStroke’s app has a digital scorecard for players to keep track of their games.

Food and drink options

While out on the course, players can order drinks on the mobile app and have their beverages delivered to them. The alcoholic beverage menu includes craft beers, wine and cocktails.

There is also a full-service restaurant, rooftop bar and ice cream parlor.
