PHOENIX – Gloria Anne (Gee) Johnson passed away peacefully at her home in Poulsbo, Washington after a brief bout with ovarian cancer on September 25, 2023.

Born on April 17, 1939 in Seattle, Gloria attended Lincoln High School followed by the University of Arizona where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. It was there where she met the love of her life, Gary, whom she was married to for 55 years before his passing.

Gloria loved to cross stitch, embroider, read and play bridge. She was a skilled pianist for much of her life. She loved a good garage sale. Her happiest place was in the dirt; planting, gardening and pulling weeds. Her love for her family and friends was obvious in the long-term relationsh­ips she maintained near and far.

Gloria’s infectious laugh, incredible sense of humor, larger-than-life personalit­y and loyalty to her family and friends will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Johnson and is survived by her four children: Zan Kincaid, Traci (Patrick) Moore, Kelly (Kevin) Willis and Kraig (Rachelle) Johnson, 10 loving grandchild­ren, 3 great grandchild­ren and her brother, James R. Gee of Edmonds, Washington.
