“Poor Things,” starring Arizona native Emma Stone and directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, has been generating buzz after winning Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the 2024 Golden Globes and Stone winning Best Performanc­e by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Now fans are wondering where they can watch the Frankenste­in-esque film.

Alasdair Gray, the film is about Bella Baxter (Stone) who is rediscover­ing what it means to be a human and a woman after she is brought back to life with an infant brain by mad scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter, played by Willem Dafoe.

While on this journey, she crosses paths with many men including Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), Max McCandles (Ramy Youssef) and Harry Astley (Jerrod Carmichael). Each helps shape her into the best version of herself in different ways.
