Linda Marie Wenzl

PEORIA – Linda Marie (Fletcher) Wenzl was born in Omaha, Nebraska July 13, 1942. Her soul departed January 20, 2024 in Peoria, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her mother Loretta Marie (Sedlacek) Fletcher, Her father Fred Albert Fletcher, her sister Carole (Fletcher) Hanus, her brother Fred Fletcher Jr.

Linda and her family lived in Norfolk, NE during her grade school and high school years. Then the family moved back to Omaha in 1960. Linda was a humble person. Linda was not bold or pretentious, but she was proud to be a married woman when she married her husband LeRoy Paul Wenzl (still living) in 1962. In 1963 she was proud to become a mother and proud to be the mom of her daughter Carole Marie Wenzl. In 1965, Linda became mom of her second born and became proud again, now the mother of a son Robert Paul Wenzl. LeRoy, Linda, Carole and Robert moved to a suburb of Portland, OR in 1969 and then moved to a suburb of Phoenix, AZ in 1977.

Linda’s daughter Carole has a husband, Adam Pruett. Carole has three children (Linda’s grandchildren) Megan (Peterson) Erikson, Zachery L. Peterson, and Cody Lee Peterson. Megan is married to Bobbie Erikson and they have 2 children (Linda’s great grandchildren) Michael Erikson and Josephine Erikson. Linda’s son Robert has a daughter, Sophie Rose Wenzl. Linda was a stay at home mom until the children’s teen years. She then worked full time for about 5 years each at Merchant’s Bonding and Kemper Insurance. She later worked part time at a Hallmark store. Linda had a loyal soul devoted to husband and children. Thank you GOD for Linda. Please GOD if our prayers are relevant and GOD you are willing, please give extra love and mercy to the spiritual remains of Linda Marie Wenzl. A private memorial service will be held at home.
