Marian M. McFadden Holben passed away with her family by her side on January 24, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was 87 years old. Marian, a proud fourth generation Arizona Native, was born in Globe, Arizona September 23, 1936 to Lonnie and Eleanor(Johnson) McFadden. She was born into a pioneer cattle ranching family.

The Family moved to Chandler where she attended school from the sixth grade through high school where she graduated in 1954.

She married the love of her life, Marston K. Holben in 1977 and they worked in a very successful CPA practice in Scottsdale,AZ. They retired from the practice and moved to Louisiana from 19221997 where they were in the gaming business which was a totally different adventure for them and they loved the people and the experience.

They retired in 1977 and returned to Phoenix and began enjoying life and the many summers they spent in spearfish, SD. She loved music and loved to dance especially to country/western music.

Marian loved her children and grandchild­ren with a love that was passionate and unconditio­nal. She was the proud mother of daughters Cheri Mariani(Pat) and Melanie St Pierre(Ray-Deceased). The very proud grandmothe­r of Misti Mangone, Nikolas Mariani, Lindsay Wagner and Chelsea Mariani, great grandchild­ren, Chayse-Lynne Marie Smith(Cornell), great grandsons Alexander Wagner, Enzo and Malaki Garner. Also 3 Great-Great Grandchild­ren Sophia, Ava and Robbie Smith and 2 Step-grandchild­ren Thomas and Lucas Holben.

She also loved her wonderful friends that she considered family, Trudy Schroeder, Dr. Ray and Jean Weinhold and Joann(Deceased) and Scott Lewis. Marian had an aura of joy, happiness, love, peace and fun around her that was infectious. She loved her husband, family and friends. We were all blessed to have Marian in our Lives. She was a delight to be around and will be missed.

Preceded in death by her husband, brother, step-grandson Hunter Holben and parents.

A private interment will be held for family and friends on February 23, 2024 at 12:00PM at Green Acres Cemetery.
