YOUNGTOWN – Art, 90, of Youngtown, Arizona, became absent from the body and present with the Lord on Saturday, February 10, 2024. He was born on April 14, 1933 in Flushing, New York. In 1959, Art met the love of his life, Ann Marie Dorn, and the two were married. Shortly afterwards, they started their family and moved to Arizona. Art and Ann built a beautiful life together raising five children. After the passing of Ann Marie in 2017, Art met and married his second wife, Libby, of four years.

Art is survived by his wife Libby, daughters Carole Ann Hooks (Neal), Leslie Brady, Mary Mitch, Joanne Kaczmarows­ki (Andy), son Paul Zampini (Nancy Pavich), 14 grandchild­ren,13 great grandchild­ren, and stepdaught­ers - Summer Bullard and Jonna Hoffman.

Art loved the Lord Jesus Christ, and his life was a clear testament to that. He was very active at church, led Bible studies, sang in the choir, and performed in holiday musicals. In fact, Art was a very talented singer and musician. He played the piano, guitar, accordion, clarinet, saxophone, and the ukulele. Art was also very active. He loved to play golf, work out at the YMCA, go on long drives, and study the Bible. He was a great leader and example to his family and his community. We will miss him dearly.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 20th at First Baptist Church, Sun City at 10:00 followed by a reception at 11:00 in the church hall. Burial ceremony will be held at 1:30 at Holy Cross Cemetery. Please visit www.menkefuner­alhome. com to leave condolence­s.
