2 new measles cases in metro Phoenix
Two new measles cases have been reported in Maricopa County, according to health officials.
The Maricopa County Department of Public Health said in a press release that the cases were a result of exposure from the case reported earlier this month. In that case, an international visitor was diagnosed with measles and visited several metro Phoenix locations, the Department announced Feb. 10.
The Department said it was working with the infected people to identify other sites where people may have been exposed to the virus.
People who were at these locations during the specified time may have been exposed to measles:
Honey and Vine Restaurant at San Tan Mountain, 7101 S. Gilbert Road in Chandler, between 6-11 p.m. on Feb. 14. Watch for symptoms through March 6.
