Montee Ball ran for 198 yards and three touchdowns, James White scored on 69- and 50-yard runs, and Wisconsin set a school rushing record Saturday with 564 yards in a 62-14 rout at Indiana.

The Badgers (7-3, 4-2) have a chance to claim their third straight Big Ten crown after clinching a league title game spot.

Ball also moved past 1998 Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams and into second place on the FBS career list. He has 77 career TDs, trailing only Travis Prentice of Miami (Ohio), who had 78.

Indiana (4-6, 2-4) hasn’t beaten the Badgers since 2002.

Syracuse 45, No. 11 Louisville 26: Ryan Nassib threw for 246 yards, Jerome Smith ran for 144 yards and the Orange (5-5, 3-3 Big East) shocked the visiting Cardinals (9-1, 4-1).

No. 18 Nebraska 32, Penn St. 23: Taylor Martinez threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Jamal Turner for Nebraska’s first lead, and the host Cornhuskers (8-2, 5-1 Big Ten) overcame a doubledigit, second-half deficit for the fourth time this season in the win over the Nitany Lions (6-4, 4-2).

No. 24 Rutgers 28, Army 7: Brandon Coleman caught his second touchdown of the game on a 31yard pass from Gary Nova with 8:49 to play and the Scarlet Knights (8-1) beat the Black Nights (2-8).

No. 25 Texas Tech 41, Kansas 34 (2 OT): Eric Stephens took the snap out of the wildcat formation, rolled to his right and threw a 3-yard jump pass to Darrin Moore for a touchdown in double overtime to lead the Red Raiders (7-3, 4-3 Big 12) over the Jayhawks (1-9, 0-7).

A video clip of Tech coach Tommy Tuberville went viral during the game. Footage shows him facing graduate assistant Kevin Oliver and appearing to strike him with his left hand on the right side of his face. Oliver’s headset and ball cap fall off. It happened when the Red Raiders seemed to have difficulty getting the right personnel on the field. Tuberville said he didn’t mean to hit Oliver.

“It wasn’t anything to it,” he said. “It was just one of those deals where I missed his shoulder and ended up grabbing the microphone on his head set and pulled it off.”
