Action: The City Council approved a measure ending efforts to install a signal light at Brumbelow and Nesbitt Ferry roads. The city shares the intersection with Roswell, which recently voided a permit that would have allowed Johns Creek to install the light. City leaders had agreed to pay the full cost, about $180,000, for the signal. Roswell officials said Johns Creek was not following plans submitted for the project, a claim Johns Creek denies.

Vote: 5-2, with Mayor Mike Bodker and Councilmember Kelly Stewart opposed.
