LILBURN CITY COUNCIL
Monday, City Hall, 76 Main St.
Action: Council approved the application of Hookah Haven Restaurant and Lounge for an alcohol license for the sale of beer, wine and distilled spirits for consumption on-premises, location 375 Rockbridge Road, Suite 200, as recommended by the Lilburn Alcohol Review Board. Council also unanimously voted to terminate an agreement with Dave Govedare, a Washington artist who was designing sculptures for the Camp Creek Greenway in Lilburn. Because construction of the Main Street realignment will begin soon, the council has decided to use the current balance of the city’s public art fund to purchase artwork for a roundabout in that project. The city is working with the Lilburn Arts Alliance to determine the selection process for roundabout artwork.
