Go to accessatlanta.com/ getstarted and click on “register with us.” 2. Fill out the registration form. When you are done, you will be taken to the home page. 3. Click on“add a listing” in the upper right. Click on “find your event”to see if it is already in the system. If it is not, create your event, using the form provided. You will receive email notification when your event is approved. All approved events will be posted online at accessAtlanta.com. The symposium is open to the public and will address the needs of healthy men who are at high risk for prostate cancer, men newly diagnosed with the disease; caregivers; family members; and men with recurring or advanced stage prostate cancer. To register: www.pros tatehealthed.org. Juneteenth Gospel celebration: The Cobb County Branch of the NAACP will hold a“Gospelfest” as part of its 11th annual Juneteenth celebration in Marietta. The gospel program will be held 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Glover Park in the Marietta Square. The event is free. Juneteenth events will be held throughout the weekend. Juneteenth or Freedom Day events were initially held by freed slaves to celebrate the emancipation of slaves in Texas and later expanded to other states. www.cobbnaacp.org. Derrick Boazman at Hillside: Radio host Derrick Boazman will be the keynote speaker during the“Spirit of Brotherhood Luncheon”at 11 a.m. today at the Hillside International Truth Center, 2450 Cascade Road SW. Exhibit at Ventulett Gallery: The exhibit “Scenes of Past & Present” by painters AC Brown and Jan Eubanks will be on display through July 7 at the Ventulett Gallery at Holy Innocents’Episcopal Church, 805 Mount Vernon Highway NW. Eubanks is a graduate of the Art Students League of New York and the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art. Her work has been exhibited at various sites including the High Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia. Brown, a retired medical doctor, developed an interest in art while producing illustrations, diagrams and sketches for use in teaching at the Emory School of Medicine.
