Bobbi Kristina Brown remains hospitalized as tensions among her loved ones continue.

In the latest exchange of attorney-issued state- ments, her father, singer Bobby Brown, said her companion, Nick Gordon, had been offered the opportunity to visit her, under certain conditions. Gordon’s camp responded with a statement indicating he’d been kept from visiting.

“Bobby Brown has consistently prohibited Nick, who Bobbi Kristina would want by her side, from being there,” the state- ment sent on Gordon’s behalf read. “Per his own words, Mr. Brown has only ‘offered an opportunity to potentially meet with Bobbi Kristina’ if Nick were to meet certain conditions, conditions that we, his attorneys, have advised him not to meet, particularly in light of Mr. Brown’s inability to guarantee access.”

The conditions weren’t specified by either side. Gordon’s statement went on to say he’s hopeful for a meeting.

“In an effort to do all he can to visit, Nick has repeatedly offered to meet with Mr. Brown privately to discuss his request in person, rather than through lawyers. Those offers have also been rejected. We hope Mr. Brown has a change of heart.”

A previous statement sent on Gordon’s behalf said he’d been staying away from the hospital to avoid risking a confrontation with family members. One of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s relatives took out a restraining order on him last year.

The 21-year-old daughter of Brown and the late Whitney Houston has been hospitalized since a Jan. 31 medical emergency. Although she often had referred to Gordon as her “husband” in effusive social media posts, both sides of her family dispute that they’re legally wed.

Statements sent on Gordon’s behalf have referred to her with terms such as his “companion,” rather than “wife.”

Both the Brown and Houston families have requested prayer and privacy.
