Groundbreaking today for new training facility
Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services will break ground on its new multipurpose training facility at 11:30 a.m. today. The new building at 7810 Highway 85, Riverdale, was part of the approved 2009 SPLOST project.
The facility will hold four 1,000-square-foot classrooms that can convert into a large conference/seminar area that seats 200-plus people. Along with the multiuse classrooms will be two EMS training labs to be used for training fire personnel with latest procedures in emergency medicine.
