Mental health board will fill vacancy
One of three seats on the Region Six Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Diseases Regional Planning Board is now open for applications. The board, appointed by the Fayette County Board of Commissioners, meets every other month in Thomaston to help plan services for people with disabilities. The three-year term will run from the date of selection until Feb. 28, 2018. An applicant must be a Fayette County resident and be either a consumer of disability services, a family member of such a person, an advocate for disability services or a business person with an interest in behavioral health.
