Beyond its quartet of museums, the Marietta Square area also boasts a handful of art galleries that offer plenty to command attention. These spaces tend toward highly accessible art in an eclectic mix of media and boast an unusually casual vibe. The popular monthly First Friday Art Walk starts up again April 3, but you don’t have to wait to access these square galleries: DK Gallery is the area’s most energetic space, mounting new exhibits monthly. Closing Saturday is“Romance of the Figure & Nude,”but the next show,“Smile,”will be up on Tuesday. An opening reception will be held 6-9 p.m. March 6 for what’s billed as“a show where all the art makes you smile.”Guest artists include Chris Beck, Suzie Eifrid, Paul Flack and Betty Wasmer, lending the group exhibit“a folk art and pop art vibe,”owner Donna Krueger said. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays. 25 W.
