GSU to form Hall of Fame

The inaugural class of the Georgia State University’s first sports Hall of Fame will be inducted Oct. 3, which is the homecoming game for football against Liberty.

An election committee was formed in the spring and will select the first class. Fans can nominate candidates by Sept. 1 by filling out a form at georgiastatesports.com.

As many as 10 people will be honored in each of the first two years. After that, the number of inductees won’t exceed five.

The Hall of Fame will be housed within the GSU Sports Arena.
