Report: Flyers give Voracek $66M

Philadelphia right wing Jakub Voracek reaped the rewards of a career season in 2014-15 by agreeing to a long-term contract extension.

The Flyers did not disclose details of the new deal, but the pact was reported to be eight years and $66 million. Voracek has one year left on his current four-year, $17 million contract.

The 25-year-old Voracek had a careerbest 59 assists and 81 points last season. In the past two seasons, he has totaled 108 points in 130 games.
