Georgia State is coming off a 48-34 loss to Arkansas State in which the Panthers had a chance to go up two scores in the third quarter, only to see the Red Wolves rally. The Cajuns rallied from 15 points down to defeat Louisiana-Monroe 30-24. 2. This is the first in a stretch of four games that the Panthers could sweep, which would give them six wins and eligible for a bowl. Last year’s game against the Cajuns featured seven lead changes before the Cajuns pulled ahead with 3:34 remaining. 3. Georgia State is averaging 26.1 points and 424.4 yards, while allowing 37.3 points and 481.1 yards. Louisiana-Lafayette is averaging 30.1 points and 416.3 yards, while allowing 31.9 points and 402.4 yards. Player to watch: Georgia State offense TE Keith Rucker. Rucker has 11 catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns in his past two games. He has 18 receptions for 226 yards and three touchdowns this season. Quarterback Nick Arbuckle said last week he thought Rucker was playing better than Joel Ruiz did last season. Player to watch: Georgia State defense DB Chandon Sullivan. His interception return for a touchdown last week was the first in school history. He has 28 tackles, two sacks and three passes defenses this season. The junior ranks ninth among active players in all-purpose yards (4,138), eighth in all-purpose yards per game (125.39), and 15th in rushing yards (2,803). Player to watch: Louisiana-Lafayette defense LB Dominique Tovell. He leads the team with five sacks and nine tackles for loss. He ranks second on the team with 39 tackles.
