Q: In an article about the reversible lanes in McDonough on I-75, it says you need a Peach Pass. How do the people traveling through Atlanta just once or twice pay for their fare on their lanes, and how can I get a Peach Pass? —Jerry Schram, Stockbridge

A: Any driver who would like to use the reversible lanes on I-75 that are scheduled to open early next year, must first sign up for a Peach Pass personal toll account.

Drivers without a Peach Pass who travel in the lanes will be subject to the “unpaid toll and an administrative fee as defined in the State Road and Tollway Authority,” peachpass.com states.

A Peach Pass is a sticker that drivers affix to their windshields. Tolls are automatically deducted as drivers travel in the express lanes currently open on I-85 and the scheduled ones on I-75.

You can purchase a Peach Pass (called the Pay N Go!) at CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens stores or at customer service locations at the State Road and Tollway Authority (47 Trinity Avenue, Atlanta) and the Department of Driver Services (310 Hurricane Shoals NE, Lawrenceville).

You can also go to peachpass.com or call 855724-7277.
