City OKs funds for storm system installati­on

The Grayson City Council voted Monday to approve $13,000 of additional funds for stormwater management for the city hall parking lot expansion.

The project will include porous pavers that will handle stormwater management in the layering of the materials. The parking lot expansion includes an additional 58 spaces on Grayson Parkway next to city hall and will connect to the existing parking lot and Park Drive behind the Grayson City Center.

The project includes clearing/ demolition, grading, installati­on of curbing, flumes and other drainage improvemen­ts, installati­on of a permeable paver system, paver walkways, landscapin­g improvemen­ts, striping and signage.
