■ (At) No. 7 West Virginia 82, TCU 70: Daxter Miles Jr. tied a season high with 22 points as the Mountainee­rs (13-2, 2-1 Big 12) beat the Horned Frogs (12-3, 1-2). West Virginia improved to 10-0 against TCU since the schools joined the Big 12 in 2012. Esa Ahmad added 16 points for West Virginia, while Jevon Carter and freshman Sagaba Konate scored 13 each. Alex Robinson led TCU with 17 points, and Vladimir Brodziansk­y scored 14.

■ (At) No. 8 Duke 93, Boston College 82: Freshman Jayson Tatum matched a season high with 22 points and the Blue Devils (14-2, 2-1 ACC) beat the Eagles (8-8, 1-2) in Jeff Capel’s season debut as Hall of Fame coach Mike Krzyzewski’s temporary replacemen­t. Grayson Allen had 12 points and 11 assists, and the Blue Devils had six doublefigu­re scorers in winning their first game at Cameron Indoor Stadium without Coach K since 1995. Krzyzewski had back surgery Friday and is expected to miss four weeks. Jerome Robinson had 21 points for Boston College. The Blue Devils shot 55 percent but blew most of a 25-point lead, with the Eagles chipping away over the final 10 minutes and pulling to 88-82 on Ky Bowman’s reverse layup with 44.1 seconds left. Tatum hit four free throws in the final 42 seconds to put Duke back up by double figures.

■ No. 10 Creighton 78, (at) Providence 64: Justin Patton had 20 points and Maurice Watson Jr. scored 11 with 14 assists to lift the Bluejays (15-1, 3-1 Big East) past the Friars (11-6, 1-3). Marcus Foster had 17 points and Khyri Thomas scored 16 for Creighton, which opened a 10-0 lead and never trailed. Emmitt Holt scored 17 points and Kalif Young had nine rebounds for Providence.

■ (At) No. 12 Florida State 93, No. 21 Virginia Tech 78: Terance Mann had 22 points, and Dwayne Bacon scored 17 as the Seminoles (15-1, 3-0) beat the Hokies (12-3, 1-2) for their 11th straight win. It is the first time since joining the ACC that the Seminoles have won their first three league games. Chris Clarke led Virginia Tech with 22 points, and Zach LeDay and Ahmed Hill each scored 19.

■ (At) No. 16 Xavier 97, St. John’s 82: Edmond Sumner had 20 points and seven assists to lead the Musketeers (13-2, 3-0 Big East) past the Red Storm (8-8, 2-1). Xavier has won six straight since consecutiv­e road losses at Baylor and Colorado. The Musketeers are the last unbeaten team in Big East play. Marcus LoVett scored a career-high 32 points for St. John’s.

■ No. 18 Butler 85, (at) Georgetown 76 (OT): Freshman Kamar Baldwin scored 16 points as Bulldogs (14-2, 3-1 Big East) followed their upset of No. 1 Villanova with a win over the Hoyas (8-8, 0-4). Butler never trailed in the overtime to earn its third consecutiv­e victory. L.J. Peak had 21 points, and Jagan Mosely scored a career-high 20 for the Hoyas.

■ No. 22 Cincinnati vs. Houston: Late

■ (At) No. 23 Notre Dame 75, Clemson 70: V.J. Beachem tied his career-high with 22 points to lead the Fighting Irish (14-2, 3-0 ACC) past the Tigers (11-4, 1-2). Matt Farrell added 15 points for the Irish, including a 3-pointer with 10 seconds left for the game’s final margin. Bonzie Colson recorded his ACC-best 10th double-double of the season with 13 points and 12 rebounds for Notre Dame, which has won five straight. Jaron Blossomgam­e had 22 points and eight rebounds for Clemson.

■ No. 24 (At) Florida 83, Tennessee 70: KeVaughn Allen connected on four 3-pointers in the final 7:34 and scored 23 points to lead the Gators (12-3, 3-0 SEC) past the Volunteers (8-7, 1-2). Florida pulled away from a tie at 56 with 8:57 left to win its fifth game in a row. Allen made three of his 3s in a span of five possession­s to turn a game that had featured six ties and 12 lead changes into a runaway at the end. Tennessee was led by Admiral Schofield with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

■ No. 25 (At) Indiana 96, Illinois 80: James Blackmon Jr. had 25 points, and Thomas Bryant scored 20 as the Hoosiers (11-5, 1-2 Big Ten) jumped out to a 13-0 lead and led the entire game in beating the Fighting Illini (11-5, 1-2). Robert Johnson finished with 18 points for Indiana and OG Anunoby had 12 points. Jalen Coleman-Lands and Malcolm Hill scored 21 points each for Illinois.

ACC

■ (At) Syracuse 77, Pittsburgh 66: John Gillon scored 20 points and matched his career high with 11 assists, and Andrew White had 21 points as the Orange (10-6, 2-1) beat the Panthers (12-4, 1-2). It was the second straight win for Syracuse, which broke a five-game losing streak to Pittsburgh. Jamel Artis had 23 points to lead the Panthers.

SEC

■ (At) South Carolina 79, Texas A&M 68: Duane Notice had 19 points, and Sindarius Thornwell scored 16 as the Gamecocks (12-3, 2-) used a late 14-2 run to pull away from the Aggies (8-6, 0-3). D.J. Hogg tied his career high with 25 points to lead Texas A&M, which fell to 0-3 in SEC play for the first time in its five league seasons.

■ Mississipp­i State 95, (at) LSU 78: Aric Holman had 17 points and nine rebounds as the Bulldogs (10-4, 1-1) defeated the Tigers (9-5, 1-2). Holman was one of five players in double figures for the Bulldogs. Duop Reath led LSU with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
