Some golf cart paths are off-limits to residents

-

All golf cart paths are not created equal in Peachtree City.

The city issued a reminder on Monday noting that although the vast majority of the more than 100 miles of paved trails are part of the city’s public system, the paths on the Flat Creek, Braelinn and Planterra golf courses belong to the private clubs and are for golfers’ use only.

For safety’s sake, other golf cart users, pedestrians and cyclists are not permitted on private paths, which are marked as such.

Violators will be asked to leave the property and may be prosecuted for trespassing.

Other rules about carts and paths are at www.peachtree-city. org.
