The AJC analyzed five precincts in the 6th Congressional District to examine voter behavior and demographics across the three-county district. Here’s a closer look at each.

PRECINCT: JOHNS CREEK 16

County: Fulton Location: East of Ga. 400 and west of the Chattahoochee River, where Jones Bridge Road and Old Alabama Road meet. Registered voters: 2,707 Demographics of electorate: 69.3 percent white; 7.1 percent black; 3 percent Hispanic; 4.6 percent Asian; 16 percent other.

Tuesday’s top finishers: Jon Ossoff (D) 506 votes; Karen Handel (R) 228; Bob Gray (R) 134

PRECINCT: CHAMBLEE

County: DeKalb Location: Peachtree-DeKalb Airport north to Chamblee Dunwoody Road, west to Peachtree Golf Club and east to Shallowford Road. Registered voters: 1,825 Demographics of electorate: 54.6 percent white; 17 percent black; 7.2 percent Hispanic; 8.5 percent Asian; 13.5 percent other
