YEbo Beach Hause: Peri-Peri Prawn Tacos,

With regard to tacos, I thought there was nothing new under the sun. But having had dinner at Yebo Beach Haus, I can attest to the fact that the salsa on the prawn tacos is definitely a delicious and new taste treat. Is there any chance the chef will share the recipe for those fabulous prawn tacos? — Pat Penn, Atlanta

Jaime Genovese, general manager for Yebo Beach Haus, was happy to share the recipe for their prawn tacos. The tacos will be on the menu for just a little bit longer. In a few weeks, the Beach Haus turns to Yebo Ski Haus and the prawn tacos won’t be back until next year.

Genovese notes that while you can make the Peri-Peri Aioli with any purchased peri-peri sauce, it’s best with True Story Brands’ signature Peri-Peri sauce, available for purchase at Biltong Bar or 10 Degrees South. True Story Brands is Justin Anthony’s hospitalit­y group.

The Peri-Peri Prawn Tacos are part of the small plate menu which includes Curry Crab Claw and Bobotie Bunny Chow, two more dishes with the flavors of South Africa.
