2. Was it Super Smash Bros.?

North Carolina guard Joel Berry II is competitive at all things — including video games. Apparently to a fault. Berry’s action will keep the Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player on the bench for about four weeks.

3. Latest knell from Knoxville

Tennessee’s leading tailback John Kelly and third-team linebacker Will Ignont are facing the likelihood of a suspension for the Kentucky game after marijuana was found in the car they were in during a Tuesday traffic stop.

4. Did someone say cupcakes?

Meanwhile, the “Fire Butch” movement in Tennessee has reached a groundswell. At least one Food Lion is selling “Fire Butch” cakes and cupcakes and a diner echoed the sentiment against Volunteers football coach Butch Jones on a “Fox & Friends” segment. And a high school near Nashville joined the call on its marquee, although that might have been a senior prank or giddy Vanderbilt fans.
