Art Chapple hopes something can be done about an unsightly power pole in Atlanta.
“(This) device is hanging over the sidewalk from a power pole at 330 Hillside Drive NW. He said he has made calls to different jurisdictions, but has not received any answers. We sent the issue to the city to see if they could help resolved the issue.

Last week, we told you about Debra Canaras and her issue with a pothole on an exit ramp.
“We often travel to the North Springs MARTA station from Milton. As you exit 400 southbound, there is a terrible pothole right at the foot of the exit. It is difficult to transition safely from the speed of travel on 400 to the exit while navigating the pothole. It is big enough to impact control of the vehicle,” she wrote.
We heard back from the DOT the ramp was fixed Dec. 1. Days on list:4

Fred Duncan wants something done near Atlanta’s hottest attraction, the Beltline.
“On Irwin Street, 25 feet east of where the Beltline now crosses Irwin, the sidewalk on the south side has been a crumbled mess for years. For the past four or five months, barriers have been set up around it pushing people into the street to walk. The sidewalk has thousands of people every day over the weekends
and holidays, and a child is going to eventually be struck by a car because of this dangerous situation,” Duncan wrote.
We sent his concern to the city. Days on list:4
