Where can I find it?

- By Sabine Morrow

Please help me find a music CD by Billy Andrusco. I’ve tried to find one via iTunes and Amazon with no luck. Thanks. Craig Stewart, Hoschton

Canadian-born pianist Billy Andrusco’s long musical career included gigs on television, cruise ships as well as concerts, and today he can be heard on Sirius radio. Currently semi-retired and living in Phoenix, Andrusco sells his music CDs through the website grandpianist.com. You also can call him directly at 623-937-0073. Available CDs include piano solos, piano accompanied by an orchestra, original music, and a Christmas recording featuring the Aldridge Sisters who appeared on The Lawrence Welk Show for about five seasons. Prices start at $15.99.

Can you tell me where to purchase the vegetarian frozen pasta by Lightlife, please? I’ll take any flavor, but I’d really like to find the vegetarian sausage ravioli, if possible. They’re new, and I’d like to give them a try, but I can’t find them. Thanks. Kelly Thompson, email

Lightlife offers a new line of meatless meals featuring plant-based frozen pastas and meal bowls. The Veggie Sausage Ravioli includes roasted red peppers and kale, and is available for $4.99 per 8-ounce bag at Kroger, 2205 Lavista Road, Atlanta, 404-633-8694. Simply boil the pasta, then add your own sauce. Ingredients for the veggie sausage include textured soy protein concentrate, tapioca starch, soy sauce, evaporated cane syrup, wheat gluten and dairy-free cream cheese alternative. The mozzarella cheese alternative includes organic palm fruit oil, modified corn and potato starch, pea fiber, pea starch and bamboo fiber. Note that while the pasta is plant-based, it’s not gluten free.

My daughter occasionally has play dates with groups of friends, and they often end up sharing snacks. One of her friends gave her a pickle, and now my daughter can’t stop asking for these. Unfortunately, I can’t find them, and I’m not surprised since they’re fruit punch pickles. The manager at my store looked at me like I was crazy. Is there such a thing? If so, please help me find it. M. Wagoner, email

Well, that’s certainly an original pickle flavor, but the good news is that these pickles are readily available. Tropickles — yes, that’s their real name — are a Great Value house brand from Walmart. These pickle spears, found oddly bobbing in a reddish fruit punch, got their start via recipes on Pinterest. You’ll find 24-ounce jars of Tropickles for $1.78 at Walmart, 1871 Chamblee Tucker Road, Chamblee, 770-455-0422.

I enjoy reading your column every Sunday in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and your success in almost always finding those elusive items. So I am hoping you can find this one for me. It is Maybelline Pure Makeup Honey Beige medium 4. It comes in a tube. I used to be able to get it at Kroger and various drugstores and they have all discontinued carrying it. I was then able to find it on Amazon, and now it has stopped carrying it. Do you know of any other stores or any websites where I might be able to find it? I really appreciate your help! Thanks in advance. Pam Clark, Marietta

Thank you for reading, Pam. The usual outlets for discontinued makeup offers other tints, but not yours. When Amazon runs out of stock, there’s usually one last resort left, and that’s eBay, where I found a few tubes of Maybelline Pure Makeup Honey Beige medium 4. They range in price from about $9 upward to nearly $20. Once you go through these, you might want to start looking for a replacement brand that you like as well because the stock is quickly disappearing. Having trouble finding a particular item? We’ll try to help you locate it. Because of the volume of mail, we cannot track down every request.
