McIver trial, in order of selection:
Juror 1: White male; manages and leases medical buildings; served on two other juries; two siblings are retired police officers.
Juror 2: White female; lives in East Point; originally from Flint, Mich.; husband is a paramedic; no kids; has participated in Black Lives Matter protest.
Juror 3: White male; lives in West Midtown; not far from where Diane McIver was shot; accountant; no spouse or children.
Juror 4: Black female; educator; married; two kids; husband owns two guns for protection but says she’s never fired one.
Juror 5: White male; married; two kids; master’s degrees in engineering and business; already has a will prepared, locked in lawyer’s vault.
Juror 6: White female; lives in Alpharetta; retired sales representative; married; three adult children; husband keeps a loaded gun in the glove box or center console of his car when traveling; brother-in-law shot and killed himself.
Juror 7: White female; resides in Roswell; teaches elementary school; husband, also a teacher, owns a handgun but doesn’t carry it with him.
Juror 8: White male; Sandy Springs resident; CFO for restaurant group; wife owns a gun, he has shot it recreationally.
Juror 9: White male; lives in Alpharetta; former musician, now employed by a construction supply company; previously served on jury that did not reach verdict; owns a hunting rifle, shotgun and a .22.
Juror 10: Black female; Union City resident, certified nursing assistant; former Lyft driver; single; three children.
Juror 11: White female; resides in Johns Creek; works for a cruise line; two teen children; cousin and best friend were robbed at gunpoint in separate incidents.
Juror 12: Black male; finance and accounting manager; active in church; father was a Washington, D.C., police officer; lives near the area where a frightened Tex McIver allegedly said he felt compelled to pull out his handgun.
